GTA 6 Release Date, Gameplay and Hacker Leak Update

GTA 6 release date is November 19, 2026. See confirmed prices, gameplay, preorders and the latest Cyberleek investigation, plus fake download warnings.

The GTA 6 release date is November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games is charging $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition in the United States. Preorders are open, digital preloading begins November 12, and Rockstar’s new extended presentation finally shows the game running in real time on a PlayStation 5. Meanwhile, Rockstar has acknowledged that unauthorized gameplay videos circulated during August and described the incident as heartbreaking for its team.

Those confirmed details matter because recent unauthorized leaks have mixed unfinished material with rumor and speculation. This guide uses Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and approved preview information to explain the current release plan, editions, bonuses, gameplay systems, PC status and the latest hacker investigation. It does not treat leaked footage as evidence or repeat potential story spoilers.

GTA 6 Release Date and Supported Platforms

Rockstar’s official GTA 6 page now lists Thursday, November 19, 2026, as the launch date. The company previously targeted May 26, but moved the game to November to allow more development and polishing time. Take-Two repeated the November date in its August financial results, so the publisher and its parent company remain aligned on the current schedule.

The confirmed launch platforms are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2 or PC versions. The wording is important: a missing PC announcement does not prove that a computer version will never arrive, but buyers should not rely on an unconfirmed port when choosing where to preorder.

The GTA 6 release date applies across the confirmed console storefronts, although the exact unlock hour can vary by account region. Rockstar has not published a complete regional unlock table yet.

Platform Launch status Date
PlayStation 5 Confirmed November 19, 2026
Xbox Series X|S Confirmed November 19, 2026
PC Not announced No confirmed date
Nintendo Switch 2 Not announced No confirmed date
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Not announced No confirmed date

The newest extended look was captured entirely from in-game PlayStation 5 footage. That confirms the presentation represents a console build rather than a prerendered target, although it does not establish final resolution, frame rate or the exact differences between PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Standard and Ultimate Editions Compared

Take-Two’s official preorder announcement prices the Standard Edition at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99 in the United States. Regional prices, taxes and currency conversions vary. Buyers should check the storefront tied to their actual PlayStation or Microsoft account rather than converting the US price themselves.

The Ultimate Edition adds premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and other items distributed across Jason and Lucia’s story. Rockstar says its bonuses appear as chapters progress, so they should not be assumed to unlock immediately. Standard Edition owners can purchase the Ultimate Edition Upgrade later through the PlayStation or Microsoft storefront.

With the GTA 6 release date now confirmed, buyers can compare these editions without relying on placeholder retailer listings. The $20 difference mainly pays for digital extras rather than a separate campaign or early access.

Edition US price Main contents
Standard Edition $79.99 Full single-player game
Ultimate Edition $99.99 Full game plus premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and story-linked items
Ultimate Edition Upgrade Price not listed Digital add-on for Standard Edition owners

Rockstar currently offers the Ultimate Edition digitally. The physical product is a Standard Edition box containing a download code, not a game disc. A physical Ultimate Edition is not available, although physical Standard owners can redeem their code and then buy the digital upgrade.

Preorder Bonuses and November 12 Preload

Digital preorders and purchases completed before November 20 include the Vintage Vice City Pack. The pack contains a 1955 Vapid Stanier Sedan with a garage, outfits and hairstyles, and an exclusive weapon pattern. Digital buyers also receive one month of GTA+ membership, which can be used with the existing GTA+ Games Library and GTA Online benefits.

Physical preorders include the game download code and Vintage Vice City Pack, but Rockstar’s support page does not list the free GTA+ month for physical purchases. Buyers who care about that subscription bonus should verify the exact retailer listing before choosing a boxed code over the digital edition.

Preloading begins at local midnight on November 12. Physical boxes are expected to become available for shipping or pickup from that date so their codes can support the same preload period. Because there is no disc inside, a physical purchase still requires a full download and enough console storage.

The GTA 6 release date arrives seven days after preloading begins. Rockstar has not announced paid early access, so neither edition should become playable before November 19 unless the company changes its official plan.

The Rockstar support guide also warns PlayStation buyers to match the code region with their PlayStation account. Xbox codes are described as region-free, while PlayStation codes use defined regional groups. Importing the wrong PlayStation box could therefore create an activation problem.

Latest Gameplay Details From the Extended Look

Rockstar released Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look on August 27. The official presentation shows the modern state of Leonida, including Vice City, dense neighborhoods, coastal roads, wetlands, local businesses, wildlife and a much broader range of residents. The focus is not simply map size. The footage emphasizes places that feel busy, reactive and culturally distinct.

The GTA 6 release date follows this extended presentation by less than three months. As a result, the official footage offers a more reliable picture of the launch version than older development clips or anonymous social-media claims.

Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos remain the center of the story. Rockstar describes them as partners forced to rely on each other after an easy score goes wrong and pulls them into a wider criminal conspiracy. The new footage reinforces a crime story built around their relationship rather than two disconnected campaigns.

Approved preview reporting also confirms that players can switch between Jason and Lucia while they travel together or let them operate independently. One described example allows Jason to drive while Lucia uses the in-game phone, followed by a role change during the same sequence. However, Rockstar has not published a complete mission list or explained every restriction on character switching.

Jason, Lucia and a More Reactive Leonida

The latest approved information brings back character-development systems associated with earlier Rockstar games. Food can affect Jason and Lucia’s weight, exercise can visibly build muscle, and going too long without sleep can change their appearance. These systems suggest that daily behavior will leave more visible traces than it did in GTA V.

The in-game phone also includes social feeds that reflect Leonida’s culture and events. That feature connects the first trailer’s viral-video satire with direct player interaction. Still, Rockstar has not said whether posts affect missions, reputation or income, so claims about a full influencer career system remain speculative.

Leonida extends beyond Vice City’s neon shoreline. Rockstar’s official location pages show the Leonida Keys, the wetlands of Grassrivers, industrial Ambrosia, Port Gellhorn and the wilderness around Mount Kalaga. The extended look presents driving, boating, nightlife and quieter environmental moments across those areas. It does not confirm that every visible building can be entered.

GTA 6 Hacker Leak: What Happened

An unidentified person or group using the name Cyberleek began posting apparent GTA 6 gameplay clips on August 18. Axios reported that at least six clips and map material appeared online before social platforms removed many copies following copyright complaints. Early reports could not independently authenticate every file, so viewers had good reason to remain cautious.

Rockstar later acknowledged that gameplay videos had leaked and said the incident was not how the studio intended players to see the game. The company’s statement reported by PC Gamer also warned that spoilers could affect the intended experience. However, Rockstar did not identify the person behind Cyberleek or explain how the material was obtained.

The GTA 6 release date has not changed because of these unauthorized posts. Rockstar’s statement continued to direct players toward November 19 while encouraging the community to wait for the intended experience.

The current Cyberleek case should not be confused with the 2022 Rockstar breach. That earlier incident involved Lapsus$ member Arion Kurtaj and roughly 90 development videos. Recent reporting on the older case says Kurtaj has moved from a secure hospital to prison while awaiting a new trial. No credible public evidence currently connects him to the August 2026 Cyberleek posts.

Take-Two’s Investigation and Player Safety

Take-Two has pursued records that could help identify the source of the new leak. Windows Central reported that legal requests sought relevant account and investigative records from Microsoft, Discord, Google and other services. Microsoft said it was working with Take-Two and Rockstar to protect their creative work and intellectual property.

Those requests do not prove any specific theory about the breach. Reports have mentioned developer hardware, online services and restricted builds, but Take-Two has not publicly confirmed how Cyberleek accessed the material. Likewise, copyright takedowns support the conclusion that protected content was shared, but they do not establish that the leaker possesses the complete retail game.

Players should avoid any download advertised as a GTA 6 beta, PC build or leaked ISO. Tom’s Hardware reported that a supposed 113GB GTA 6 file circulating online appeared to contain mostly empty data plus malicious code. Rockstar has not released a public beta, and the official November 12 preload will come only through authorized console storefronts or redeemed retail codes.

The GTA 6 release date does not create a legitimate reason to download unofficial files early. Players should use the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store or a verified retail code and avoid links promoted through leak accounts.

PC, Switch 2 and Last-Generation Status

There is currently no GTA 6 PC release date. The GTA 6 release date announced for November 19 applies only to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A later PC release may appear eventually, as it did for several earlier Rockstar games, but past behavior is not an official promise and does not establish timing.

Nintendo Switch 2 is also absent from the announced platform list. The same applies to PS4 and Xbox One. Technical speculation about memory, storage or performance cannot replace a platform announcement from Rockstar. For comparison, OtakuZasshi’s Kingdom Hearts 4 platform guide shows how an official multi-platform list should be separated from expected ports.

Rockstar has not published final install size, performance modes or Xbox Series S specifications. The PlayStation marketing language says the game plays best on PS5, but buyers still need direct technical details before assuming a particular resolution or frame rate. OtakuZasshi used the same evidence-first approach in its Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Switch 2 upgrade guide.

What Rockstar Has Not Announced Yet

Several buying questions remain open. Rockstar has not confirmed the download size, final graphics modes, accessibility menu, cross-save support, a collector’s edition with physical merchandise or the structure and release timing of the next GTA Online experience. The official preorder pages focus on the single-player product and bonuses.

Although the GTA 6 release date is confirmed, these missing technical details still matter for storage planning and edition choices. Rockstar can add them before launch without changing the date itself.

Likewise, the company has not announced a public demo. Any file circulating as a beta, PC build or early access download should be treated as unsafe unless Rockstar distributes it through an official storefront. The November 12 preload is encrypted game data, not a playable early-access period.

The recent unauthorized footage does not change the official release date or edition list. Rockstar has asked players to rely on its approved material, and unfinished builds can misrepresent visuals, missions and systems. The August extended look offers the strongest current baseline because Rockstar identifies it as in-game PS5 footage.

Kingdom Hearts 4 Release Date, Platforms and Worlds

Kingdom Hearts 4 arrives in late 2027. Compare confirmed platforms, the Coco world, Build combat, anime plans and the details still missing.

Published

on

The Kingdom Hearts 4 release date is currently set for late 2027. Square Enix has not announced a specific day or month, but it has confirmed versions for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. A new D23 trailer also revealed a world inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Coco, while Disney separately announced an original Kingdom Hearts anime series.

The new information answers several major questions that remained after the game’s 2022 reveal. However, price, editions, preorder bonuses and a precise launch date are still unconfirmed. This guide separates official details from open questions so players can decide which platform to follow and what to expect from the next announcement.

Kingdom Hearts 4 Release Date and Confirmed Platforms

Square Enix’s official announcement places Kingdom Hearts IV in late 2027. That is a release window rather than a final date. Until Square Enix names a month and day, storefront countdowns, retailer placeholders and social media claims should not be treated as confirmed launch information.

The publisher lists six platform destinations: Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Therefore, the game has three separate PC distribution options. Square Enix has not announced versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One or the original Nintendo Switch.

Platform Confirmed status Release timing
Nintendo Switch 2 Confirmed Late 2027
PlayStation 5 Confirmed Late 2027
Xbox Series X|S Confirmed Late 2027
Xbox on PC Confirmed Late 2027
Steam Confirmed Late 2027
Epic Games Store Confirmed Late 2027
PS4, Xbox One and original Switch Not announced No confirmed release

Nintendo has also independently confirmed the Nintendo Switch 2 version. However, neither company has published technical comparisons, storage requirements or performance targets. Players should wait for direct specifications before assuming that resolution, frame rate or content will differ between platforms.

What the Kingdom Hearts 4 Release Date Window Means

Late 2027 narrows the launch to the final part of the year, but it does not guarantee a particular quarter or holiday date. Square Enix’s product summary lists the price as undecided, while its official site currently focuses on trailers rather than purchasing information. Preorders are not evidence of a final date unless they appear through an authorized store with matching publisher confirmation.

The Kingdom Hearts 4 release date window is still meaningful because it gives players time to plan their platform choice. Nintendo Switch 2 offers portability, while PS5 and Xbox Series X|S provide dedicated console options. PC players can choose among Xbox on PC, Steam and Epic Games Store, although cross-save, account linking and achievement parity have not been announced.

For another recent multi-platform launch comparison, OtakuZasshi’s Steins;Gate Re:Boot release guide explains how regional dates and formats can differ. The Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Switch 2 upgrade guide also shows why buyers should wait for official performance and save-data details.

Coco Joins the New Kingdom Hearts Worlds

Disney’s D23 announcement confirms that Kingdom Hearts IV includes a world inspired by Coco. The new footage shows Miguel and Hector joining Sora during his next adventure. This is the first officially named Disney and Pixar world from the latest D23 reveal, but Square Enix has not published a complete world list.

Coco fits the series naturally because its story explores memory, family and the connection between different realms. Those themes also align with a game that begins after Sora awakens far from his familiar world. Even so, the trailer alone does not confirm how much of the film’s plot the game will adapt or where the visit occurs within the wider story.

Quadratum remains central to the opening premise. Square Enix describes it as a world resembling modern Tokyo, yet different from it. Sora wakes there and begins searching for a way back to his original world. This realistic city setting creates a sharp visual contrast with the colorful Land of the Dead and gives the new game room to move between grounded urban spaces and expressive Disney worlds.

Combat and the New Build Mechanic

Square Enix says Kingdom Hearts IV will retain fast, dynamic battles that combine accessible controls with varied action. Magic remains part of Sora’s toolset, while a new feature called Build expands the available approaches to combat. The publisher has not released a complete mechanical explanation, so it is safer to view Build as a confirmed system rather than assume exactly how crafting, construction or progression will work.

Kingdom Hearts 4 release date guide artwork showing the Build mechanic in Quadratum
Original artwork created for OtakuZasshi. Not official artwork.

The D23 footage provides visual context, but trailer scenes can change before launch. Questions about party control, difficulty settings, equipment progression and optional activities remain unanswered. Likewise, Square Enix has not confirmed a demo or public beta.

Players comparing other upcoming Japanese games can use OtakuZasshi’s Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave release and gameplay guide for another example of separating demonstrated systems from unconfirmed expectations.

The Kingdom Hearts Anime Is a Separate Project

Disney also announced Kingdom Hearts, a working-title original anime series for Disney Channel and Disney+. According to the official D23 entertainment summary, the series is being developed with Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix. It will reimagine the adventure through a new story that expands the franchise’s universe.

The anime is not described as a direct adaptation of Kingdom Hearts IV. Disney has not announced its release date, episode count, animation studio, cast or regional streaming schedule. Therefore, viewers should treat the show and game as connected franchise projects with separate production timelines.

Square Enix’s announcement says the game series has sold or shipped more than 39 million units worldwide as of March 2026. A television project can introduce its characters and core ideas to viewers who have never followed every game, but Disney has not yet explained whether prior knowledge will be necessary.

Editions, Preorders and Details Still Missing

No Standard, Deluxe or Collector’s Edition has been detailed. The price remains undecided, and no preorder bonus has been confirmed. Physical formats are also unknown. That matters for Switch 2 buyers in particular because Square Enix has not said whether a retail release would use a full game card, a game-key card or another format.

System requirements and storage size for PC are also absent. Steam and Epic listings may eventually provide minimum and recommended specifications, but any numbers circulating before official store pages appear should be considered estimates. The same caution applies to frame-rate claims and console resolution comparisons.

The most useful next announcement would provide a precise Kingdom Hearts 4 release date, edition pricing, regional preorder details and platform specifications. Until then, players can safely wishlist the game when official store pages become available without committing to an edition based on incomplete information.

Steins;Gate Re:Boot Release Date, Platforms and Editions

Published

on

The Steins;Gate Re:Boot release date is August 20, 2026 for the worldwide Steam version. North American and European console players must wait until October 29 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Every international version includes English text and Japanese voices, so PC players can begin the new worldline today without waiting for a later translation.

The staggered schedule makes the buying decision less obvious than a single launch date suggests. Steam currently offers the Standard and Digital Deluxe editions, while console buyers can choose physical or digital versions in October. This guide separates the regional dates, explains the new Gamma Worldline, compares the editions and lists the official PC requirements.

Steins;Gate Re:Boot Release Date by Platform

Spike Chunsoft confirms that Steins;Gate Re:Boot launched worldwide on Steam on August 20, 2026. Steam may display August 19 in some regions because its store records the unlock according to local time. Both dates refer to the same global PC launch window rather than separate versions.

The international console release follows on October 29. The official English product page lists Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for that date. Physical copies are available for Switch 2, Switch and PS5, whereas the Xbox version is digital only.

Platform and region Release date Format
Steam worldwide August 20, 2026 Digital
Switch 2, Switch and PS5 in North America and Europe October 29, 2026 Physical and digital
Xbox Series X|S in North America and Europe October 29, 2026 Digital
Switch 2, Switch, PS5 and PS4 in Japan August 20, 2026 Physical and digital options
Xbox Series X|S in Japan October 29, 2026 Digital

Japan receives a different console schedule. MAGES’ Japanese product page lists an August 20 launch for Switch 2, Switch, PS5 and PS4, while Japan’s Xbox Series version arrives October 29. The western release does not list a PS4 edition, so importing requires careful attention to platform, store region and physical availability.

Readers comparing other major Japanese-game launches can also use OtakuZasshi’s Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Switch 2 upgrade guide and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave release guide.

English Language Support and Regional Differences

Steins;Gate Re:Boot supports English interface text and subtitles from launch. It also includes Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese text. Voice acting remains Japanese only, which preserves the returning cast’s performances while making the story accessible to English-speaking players.

The Steam release is the simplest option for anyone who wants the official English version immediately. Its store page explicitly lists English interface and subtitle support, Japanese full audio and a single-player format. It also includes Steam Achievements and Family Sharing.

Console players outside Japan can wait for the localized October release. Although the Japanese editions also list English text, importing can complicate purchases, retailer bonuses, refunds and downloadable content. Therefore, most North American and European players will have a cleaner experience buying the version intended for their region.

The Switch 2 and original Switch releases are separate products. MAGES warns that save data cannot transfer between those Japanese versions. Buyers should choose the edition that matches the console they intend to use instead of treating the Switch 2 release as an automatic upgrade.

Standard, Digital Deluxe and SteelBook Editions

The Standard Edition contains the complete visual novel. On Steam, its regular US price is $59.99, although a 10 percent early-purchase discount runs through September 2. Regional prices and promotional end times can differ, so the live storefront remains the final authority at checkout.

The Digital Deluxe Edition carries a regular US price of $79.99 on Steam. It includes the game, a digital visual collection, the soundtrack and footage from the Steins;Gate 15th LIVE ONE WORLD event with English subtitles. The bonus material suits established fans, but none of it is required to access the new story route or ending.

Edition Main contents Best for
Standard Full game New players and story-focused buyers
Digital Deluxe Game, digital art book, soundtrack and subtitled live-event footage Collectors who want digital extras
SteelBook Physical game and collectible SteelBook packaging Console collectors

Physical SteelBook and Standard editions arrive with the western console launch. Exact stock and retailer availability vary by country. Meanwhile, the Steam early-purchase campaign grants Steins;Gate Octet of Shifting Space at no additional cost to eligible buyers. That retro 1980s PC-style adventure becomes playable later, and the official campaign currently runs until November 30 at 11:00 a.m. PT.

If the extras are not personally valuable, the Standard Edition provides the sensible purchase. The Digital Deluxe version does not add a separate story chapter to Re:Boot; it packages archival and behind-the-scenes material around the same main game.

What Is New in Steins;Gate Re:Boot

Steins;Gate Re:Boot rebuilds the 2009 visual novel rather than simply increasing its resolution. The scenario uses Steins;Gate Elite as a base, with revised pacing, new dialogue and narrative text, a new worldline and an additional ending. The official site describes a substantially expanded script designed to read more smoothly.

Steins;Gate Re:Boot release date artwork showing Okabe and Kurisu examining the Phone Trigger system in the Future Gadget Laboratory
Original artwork created for OtakuZasshi. Not official artwork.

The most important new narrative addition is the Gamma Worldline. In this route, the time machine and D-Mails do not exist, and the Hououin Kyouma persona never emerged. Okabe instead works alongside Moeka Kiryu, while familiar laboratory members respond to him with hostility. That premise gives returning readers a genuinely different outcome to investigate without replacing the original central story.

MAGES also redrew the characters, backgrounds and event stills. The new release contains roughly twice as many event images as the Xbox 360 original and about 20 percent more background art. Character designer huke returned with updated clothing and accessories, while Akihabara was reconstructed using period references.

All Japanese voice performances were recorded again with the returning cast. Composer Takeshi Abo also rebuilt the background music, and E-mote animation adds movement, breathing and subtle facial expressions to the character portraits. However, the Phone Trigger system remains central: answering, replying to or ignoring messages can still change the story’s direction and ending.

Steam Price, Bonus and PC Requirements

The official Steam listing estimates a 30 to 50-hour playtime and requires 9 GB of available storage. The minimum specification asks for Windows 10 or later on a 64-bit system, an AMD FX-8150 or equivalent processor, 4 GB of RAM, DirectX 11 and an Nvidia graphics card with at least 1 GB of VRAM.

For the recommended experience, Steam lists an Intel Core i5-9300 or better and 8 GB of RAM. The graphics and storage requirements remain the same. These requirements are modest by modern standards, which should make the visual novel practical on many laptops and older gaming PCs.

PC component Minimum Recommended
Operating system Windows 10 or later, 64-bit Windows 10 or later, 64-bit
Processor AMD FX-8150 or equivalent Intel Core i5-9300 or better
Memory 4 GB RAM 8 GB RAM
Graphics Nvidia GPU with 1 GB VRAM Nvidia GPU with 1 GB VRAM
DirectX Version 11 Version 11
Storage 9 GB 9 GB

The early-purchase bonus deserves one caution. Eligible customers receive an entitlement to Steins;Gate Octet of Shifting Space, but the bonus does not become playable immediately with Re:Boot. It releases later, so its temporary absence from the library should not be mistaken for a failed purchase.

Which Steins;Gate Re:Boot Version Should You Buy?

Steam is the best option for players who want English access today. It launches first, costs less during the early-purchase promotion and includes the retro Octet bonus for eligible purchases. PC players also gain achievements and can verify the exact regional price before buying.

Console collectors should wait for October 29. Switch 2, Switch and PS5 receive physical editions, while Xbox Series X|S receives the digital game. The SteelBook version makes the most sense for collectors who value packaging; otherwise, the Standard Edition contains the entire playable story at a lower price.

Existing fans gain the most from the Gamma Worldline, rebuilt artwork, newly recorded performances and expanded visual library. Newcomers, meanwhile, receive a modernized entry point with the same choice-driven Phone Trigger foundation. Neither group needs the Digital Deluxe extras to reach the new ending.
